Can I build a creative experience into my venue hire?
We can design a private bespoke event to meet your unique requirements. Our range of mindful painting experiences can be incorporated into your event as required. Please get in touch with us to discuss your needs and any special requests further.
Do you offer photography?
We are able to bring in a professional Photographer on request at c. £20 per hour. Subject to availability.
Can I add additional staffing?
Yes, if you require additional hospitality support, we can offer you a host for your event for £15 per hour. They will be on hand to make sure your guests are well looked after, pour drinks and assist you with anything you need during your event. If you do not request any additional hospitality staffing, we will solely provide a member of staff to unlock and lock up for you.
Can I add catering ?
In terms of food and drink; we have in house nibbles (the nibbles vary seasonally, e.g. brownie bites), teas and coffees and alcoholic tonics and seltzers or soft drinks. All are available on request.
We charge £3pp for a nibble £5pp for a drink and £8pp for both a nibble & drink . Other special requests can also be accommodated.
We would be more than happy to organise food for you from a selection of our neighbouring restaurants, or something more bespoke through a private caterer. Please note - any catering set-up and clear down must be completed within your allotted time. Cleaning support can be requested at the time of booking for an additional £30.
Can we make use of the courtyard?
The courtyard space is available on request and is subject to availability. Additional tables and chairs can be requested as required, at extra cost where relevant.
Should I book one or both floors?
Each floor seats up to 10 people maximum. With both floors you can have 20 seated in total, and more for standing receptions.
To have full exclusivity of the venue we recommend hiring the whole space.
If you just book one floor, we may have another event happening simultaneously. The noise does carry between the floors - so this is at your own discretion re. the degree to which that is appropriate for your event.
Is there a minimum spend to hire the space?
Yes, there is a minimum spend equivalent to 6 guests for one floor.
There is a minimum spend equivalent to 11 guests for both floors.
For groups of 11 or more, we will automatically upgrade you to a full studio hire (both floors).
What is the best way to get to MasterPeace?
By tube and rail:
MasterPeace is easily accessible via Knightsbridge, Sloane Square and Victoria Underground and Rail stations, located only a 5-minute walk away.
MasterPeace is easily accessible via Bus routes 11, 19, 22, 137, 170, 211, 452 and C1. Some of these routes run throughout the evening and 24 hours. The London Victoria Coach Station is also located minutes away.
MasterPeace is accessible by car. There are several Westminster pay-and-display parking bays located on the surrounding roads of Ecclestone Yards, making it easy for you to unload for your event. There are a number of car parking operators in the area, including Q-Park Knightsbridge located on Kinnerton Street, SW1X 8JU and NCP Car Park, SW1X 9SA.
MasterPeace is accessible by cycling, with numerous cycle parking locations within the area. There is a cycle docking station located within Eccleston yards for your ease.
Do you have chairs with backs?
In addition to standard our metal stools, we have some chairs with backs on site.
We can organise to hire additional chairs with backs for you at an extra cost. Highly recommended for longer sittings.
Do you have a projector screen?
Yes, we have a standing projector screen and projectors that you can use to make presentations directly from our studio - great for things like team meetings and away days.
However, from experience, we have actually found that using a screenshare across laptops can be most effective for group meetings / presentations (with audio off). The projector is quite basic and screen sharing on personal laptops can make visibility clearer.
Do you have whiteboards?
Yes, we have one whiteboard and marker pens available, at no extra cost.
Please request these at the time of booking so we can have these prepared for you.
Does my time slot include set up and clear down time?
Yes, the amount of time that you choose to hire out our space for is inclusive of everything, that means set up and clear down time.
We expect the space to be left how it is found, either by cleaning down the space yourselves or requesting cleaning as a paid addition.
Your booking start time: is when you intend to arrive to commence your set up. Our own events may run right up until this time.
Your booking end time: is when you intent to depart, following your clear down. Our own events may commence immediately at this time so it is essential any clear down time is factored in at the time of booking to avoid extra charges.
Can I extend the length of my session on the day?
Any additional time requested or required on the day can be accommodated (if the space is available) with extra charges.
How should the studio be left?
The space you use in the studio should be left as it's found i.e. all rubbish taken away and nothing left over. We offer a £30 cleaning fee if necessary.
Will you market my class if I hire out your venue for it?
If you're hiring out the venue to teach your own creative class, we will not assist in selling your tickets via our marketing channels unless we specifically agree to, at our sole discretion.
Can I get a refund / reschedule my class?
Consistent with our standard policies on private events, if your booking is affected by a national Covid lockdown, you are entitled to a full refund or you can reschedule.
With the exception of that, your booking is not refundable and non-reschedulable as it requires us to cancel our pre-existing classes.
Managers’ discretion will be applied in exceptional circumstances.
Will you help manage the guests (if it is an event)?
For venue hire, we do not sell tickets on your behalf, market your event or communicate with your attendees.
A member of staff will be on site to unlock the studio and lock up again following your event.
However, if you require additional hospitality support for your event, we can provide 'hosts' at a cost of £15 per host per hour.
Should I come to see the space before booking?
We recommend dropping in to see the space before your event to make sure that everything fits with your desired criteria .
Once the event is booked, unfortunately it is non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
What duration is a 'Full Day' Hire?
A 'full day' hire consists of 8 hours of studio usage (including your set up and clear down time). Additional hours can be added on request, at extra cost.
